Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Maurya asserts: Several Samajwadi Party Members in Contact, Yet No Inclination to Accommodate Them.

Political turmoil has intensified in Uttar Pradesh ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections next year. Following the political upheaval in Maharashtra, the statements from prominent leaders of Uttar Pradesh have been continuously making headlines. In this series, Deputy CM Keshav Maurya has made a significant claim regarding the leaders of the Samajwadi Party (SP).

He revealed that several people from the SP are in contact with him. They want to join his party, but he does not want to accept them. Keshav Maurya stated, "Many people are ready, but we are not ready to take them. We have a massive majority. If someone wants to join us, the BJP has no plan to accommodate them. If there is a storm in the BJP, neither Akhilesh Yadav nor Mayawati nor the Gandhi family will be spared." He further mentioned that there is no vacancy for the position of Prime Minister in 2024, nor is there any vacancy for any leader of the Samajwadi Party.

He said, "We don't have a shortage of workers or candidates. Here (in SP), there are goons and criminals, while BJP has good people who will emerge victorious." Keshav Maurya stated that the Samajwadi Party's account will not open in 2024.

He stated, "The public has already decided on 2024. When the elections come, you can be sure that more than the 2019 elections, Narendra Modi will win alone in Uttar Pradesh and become the Prime Minister again."

Prior to this, in a special conversation from Uttar Pradesh, the chief of Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP), Om Prakash Rajbhar, also talked about a significant political upheaval in UP. Rajbhar claimed that the Samajwadi Party is on the verge of disintegration. He said, "Many leaders and legislators from the Samajwadi Party are with us. They are ready to switch sides anytime. Some want to become ministers, some want to become Members of Parliament. We will work to convey their message to the BJP."

Although Rajbhar refused to disclose the number and names of SP legislators in contact with him, he mentioned that they are in large numbers.
