Traffic police educate children on road safety rules at Methodist School, Cantt

In a bid to promote road safety, the traffic police, under the close supervision of DCP Traffic IPS Raveena, recently conducted an awareness program at the Methodist School in Cantt. The program was aimed at educating children on traffic rules and regulations.

During the program, the traffic police officers spoke to the children about the process of getting a driving license and the importance of wearing a helmet and a seat belt while traveling on the road. The officers also highlighted the provision of punishment for stunts and overspeeding.

The program was well-received by the children and the school authorities, who appreciated the efforts of the traffic police in promoting road safety. The program is expected to have a positive impact on the children and encourage them to follow traffic rules and regulations.

The initiative taken by DCP Traffic IPS Raveena and the traffic police is commendable and must be replicated in other schools and colleges across the city. It is essential to educate the younger generation on road safety rules to create a safer environment on the roads. By doing so, we can prevent accidents and save precious lives.
