Police Officials Conduct Foot March to Ensure Public Safety in Kanpur


In a bid to ensure public safety and maintain law and order in the city of Kanpur, senior police officials conducted a foot march in sensitive and mixed population areas. The Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Maho, the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (South), the Assistant Commissioner of Police Babupurwa/Naubasta, and the Station House Officers of Babupurwa/Juhi/Go0nagar/Ki0nagar Mayforce, along with civil defense personnel, marched through Idgah, Ajitganj, and Natwantola.

The officials were complying with Section 144 and were patrolling the areas to ensure that the general public felt secure. The foot march was aimed at reassuring the public and preventing any untoward incidents from taking place.

The police officials interacted with the residents of the areas and urged them to report any suspicious activities to the police immediately. They also advised the residents to follow COVID-19 protocols and maintain social distancing.
