With the Municipal Elections around the corner, the Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Bilhaur, along with the Station House Officers (SHOs) of Bilhaur, Kakwan, and Araul May police force, conducted foot patrolling in the town of Bilhaur. During the patrolling, the police officials interacted with the elderly and girls and provided them with a sense of security and the services offered by the police.
The police also provided awareness about the Anti-Romeo Squad and its role in ensuring the safety and security of women in public places. The police explained the Anti-Romeo Squad's mandate to protect women from harassment and to take action against those who violate their dignity and safety.
The initiative taken by the police officials is a commendable step towards creating awareness and providing a sense of security to citizens ahead of the Municipal Elections. The police have reiterated their commitment to ensuring a safe and secure environment for citizens during the elections.
