Congress Leaders in Jalaun, Pratapgarh, and Chitrakoot Hold Torch and Candlelight Vigils to Protest Against Erosion of Democracy

Congressmen from Jalaun, Pratapgarh, and Chitrakoot districts of Uttar Pradesh took to the streets to hold torch and candlelight vigils in protest against the perceived erosion of democratic values in the country. The protest, which was held in the wake of recent controversies surrounding the functioning of the democratic institutions, aimed to raise awareness about the need to safeguard democracy and protect the rights of citizens.

The protesters, including several senior leaders of the Congress party, held torches and candles in their hands as a symbol of their resolve to remove the darkness prevailing over democracy. They raised slogans against the government and called for greater accountability and transparency in the functioning of democratic institutions.
