Priyanka Gandhi comes in support of Aarif after a notice from forest dept. She wrote on social media "It is the tradition of our country to respect the guards. Those who set an example of love are appreciated in this country. But, what is the idea of ​​the UP government that a notice is being sent to the savior who saved the life of a stork and kept him as a friend. This injustice towards love and sensitivity is not right at all. " 

In another social media post few day back she had expressed her  appreciation for Aarif. She  said "The friendship between Arif, a resident of Amethi and a stork was like Jai-Veeru. Living together, eating together, coming and going together… their friendship is an example of friendship between humans and living beings. Arif raised his beloved stork like a member of the family, cared for him, loved him. By doing this, he has set an example of human duty towards animals and birds, which is commendable.
