As the auspicious festivals of Vishwakarma Puja, Ganesh Chaturthi, and Baravafat approach, a significant effort to ensure communal harmony and peaceful celebrations was initiated in the Barra area of Kanpur. The Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) SOUTH led a Peace Committee meeting at the Barra Police Station, bringing together prominent figures from Circle Naubasta.
The primary objective of this gathering was to encourage and promote the celebration of these festivals with unity and tranquility within the community. In attendance were various community leaders, influential individuals, and residents committed to upholding the spirit of peace during the upcoming festivities.
During the meeting, participants were provided with essential guidelines and recommendations to help maintain a peaceful atmosphere throughout the festive season. It was stressed that celebrating these occasions in harmony not only enriches the cultural fabric of the community but also ensures the safety and well-being of all residents.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP), the Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), and the Circle Station House Officer (SHO) were among the key personnel present at the gathering.
